Donald “Donie” Lee was born and raised in Key West. He is a graduate of Key West High School. He graduated from Florida Keys College with an Associates Degree and the University of Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. He served with the Key West Police for 25 years; 10 of them as Chief of Police.
