Darren was born in Key West and graduated from Key West High School in 1997. Darren is a partner at Horan Law, LLP and co-owns several restaurants and a catering company. His wife, Jessica, is also a graduate of Key West High School and they have three (3) daughters: a 9-year-old at Poinciana Elementary, a 4-year-old in pre-kindergarten and a 20-year-old who graduated from Key West High School in 2020.
Darren made his decision to run for School Board because he believes that in order for children to succeed in the classroom, negative outside interferences should be kept as minimal as possible.
Darren’s community service work includes: Take Stock in Children (Mentor); Board of Directors for the Greater Key West Chamber of Commerce; Chairman of the Key West Military Affairs Committee; Vice-President of the Southernmost Seminoles Club; Coach (youth sports).
