Michelle Coldiron brings a wealth of political, business, volunteer, and personal knowledge to her candidacy for Monroe County Commissioner, District 2. In her third year as an elected official and the current Mayor of Marathon, Michelle understands the challenges of balancing tourism with the needs of residents, being fiscally responsible and protecting our environment.
Michelle is deeply committed to serving her community. She is a member of the District Advisory Committee for the Tourism Development Council, a Board of Director for the Area Health Education Center, a Guardian ad Litem, advocating on behalf of abused children, a mentor in the Take Stock in Children program, a member of Zonta International, Marathon Chamber of Commerce, Rotary and, Leadership Monroe County.
Michelle is married to Greg and has one adult daughter, Mallory, who also lives in Monroe County. Michelle graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology.
