Dr. Sue Woltanski has served as Monroe County’s District 5 School Board member since 2018. A retired pediatrician, longtime Keys resident, and mother of two Monroe County graduates, Sue is committed to ensuring every child has access to a high-quality public education.
Under her leadership, Monroe County has become an A-rated district, expanded arts, career and technical education, and advanced coursework, and increased access to school-based mental health counselors and social workers. She championed adding a Whole Child pillar to the district’s strategic plan, supporting academic success while prioritizing student well-being.
Sue believes student achievement begins with a great teacher in every classroom. She has worked to raise teacher pay, renew local tax referendums, and advance affordable housing initiatives to retain excellent educators in the Keys.
She respectfully asks for your vote for re-election to keep Monroe County Schools strong for all our Keys kids.
