Sarah Compton – Key West Commission Dist 4

 

I am a small business owner, community advocate, and candidate for Key West City Commission, District IV. I am running because Key West deserves leadership that serves the community with integrity, transparency, and courage.Through my company, Discover Your Key West, I work with local businesses, hospitality workers, and cultural organizations to connect visitors with authentic experiences that support the local economy. It has given me a strong understanding of how decisions at City Hall affect the people who live and work here every day.

I am running to restore trust in local government. I believe that corruption and backroom politics have no place in Key West, and that public service requires honesty, accountability, and the courage to stand up for the whole community.

My priorities include protecting home rule, strengthening local businesses, preserving Key West’s history and culture, and ensuring that city government is open, transparent, and responsive to the public.
