I have the honor to serve as Florida Keys Mosquito Control District 2 commissioner since 2011, as Board chairman since 2016, and since 2020 as a board member of the Florida Mosquito Control Association.
I am a graduate chemist from North Carolina State University, hold an MBA from the University of NC, and am a Registered Parliamentarian (R). I worked more than forty years in both technical and executive positions in the private sector global chemical industry, my last twenty-five as president and shareholder of BFI, Inc. My background gives me a unique perspective in mosquito control.
I am a US Army Reserve veteran, a fiscal conservative, and a protector of our fragile environment.
Quality mosquito control is a powerful driver of our local economy. I will continue to strive to make a difference because without mosquito control, few of us would choose to live and work here.
