I’m Chris Massicotte and I’m running for Key West City Commissioner District 5 to help make local government clearer, more responsive, and more focused on residents. After a career in finance and public affairs, I chose to make Key West home and quickly became involved in the community, serving in leadership roles with local civic and environmental organizations, including Keys Last Stand. Through that work I’ve been attending meetings, reading agendas, and working with neighbors to understand how City Hall decisions affect your daily life.
Many of the challenges facing Key West stem not from a lack of ideas, but from a lack of communication, transparency, and follow-through. My campaign is built around a simple goal: Make City Hall Make Sense. That means clear information, accountable decision-making, and practical solutions that protect quality of life while supporting residents and local businesses.
I am committed to listening first, solving problems, and helping Key West remain a place people can live, work, and responsibly welcome visitors from around the world.
