I am a Florida Keys native and the daughter of a three-term Monroe County Commissioner. I am a bookkeeper with 20 years of experience, specializing in business startup, organization, research, contracts & permits, budgeting, and cost reduction. I am also a Key West HS graduate, a widow, a mother to two adult children, a grandmother, and a foster mother.
I care deeply for children and giving back to my community. That’s why I am a foster mother to a little one at home and serve as my church treasurer and clerk. As a working-class renter, I understand the challenges many Monroe County parents face. Parents have the right to decide what is best for their children, and as your District 1 trustee, I will work hard to ensure the school board understands your concerns, I will advocate on behalf of parents, and I will fight for meaningful action and results.
